2009年費城DC之旅---行程篇

美國是一個很特別的國家
因為幅員廣大 美東 美西 和美中 感覺都像是不同國家一樣
雖然一樣說著英文 但是許多文化上的小細節都不盡相同
美東給我的印象 就是一個非常有濃厚英國氣息 有文化的地方
多年前的波士頓給我非常好的印象 這次的費城和DC 也是讓我非常的喜歡
 

這次費城DC之旅成行的原因很特別 是臨時起意的
在七月初 有天突然發現最近飛往費城的機票大特價 比平常便宜快100元
加上美東的冬天太冷 夏天較適合旅遊 於是我就臨時把我的暑假旅遊計畫改變到美東去了
一切的開始 就在出發前的三週 而我人回到美國 也僅是在出發前的一周
也就是說 除了機票之外 一切幾乎都是在一週之內搞定的

大致行程如下:
 
Day 1
Houston(IAH) -Philadelphia Intl (PHL)
搭SEPTA Regional Rail 買One Day Independence Pass到Market East
至Reading Terminal Market吃午餐
到independence visitor center索取資料
搭地鐵到Reading Terminal Market參觀
搭rail到Amtrak 30th Street station
參觀Drexel University和University of Pennsylvania
搭車至South Street吃Jim's Steak
   
 
Day 2
徒步之旅
8:30前到independence visitor center領票
9:00參觀Independence Hall
買了Lights of Liberty Show的票(結果晚上因雨取消)
